The Terra Uma organization assists IDF veterans coping with PTSD to return to a full and vital life through the multi-sensory processes of viticulture and winemaking.

Wine journey
'A toast to life'
The Terra Uma Wine Journey Program is an immersive agricultural and emotional process taking place in both the vineyard and winery environments. It is an innovative program and the first of it's kind in the world, intended for veterans coping with ptsd
Over the course of a year, abilities eroded by the invisible injuries of PTSD are slowly unveiled and nurtured, enhancing personal resilience and paving the way for healthy reintegration into society.
each of the participants of the journey produces a personal and unique wine series, accompanied by an emotional team and the seniors of the wine industry in Israel.
The purpose of the journey is to enable the paving of new paths of ability and fulfillment on the way to optimal integration in society.
The personal wine series
The personal wine brands are produced by the participants of the journey, in a limited and numbered edition and accompanied by the top winemakers in Israel.
Each series is a personal process of strengthening abilities and skills on the way to a renewed and beneficial integration into society.

LAYLA series
LAYLA LAVAN and LAYLA ADOM are produced by graduates of 'Wine Journey' at Dalton Winery. This series is proof of high ability and professionalism, alongside the challenges of the injury, and it carries with it messages of ability, growth and hope.
The Terra Uma association operates in a sustainable economic model in which the products of the growth process finance the following journeys.

The vineyard and the orchard
In June of 2023, together with members of our inaugural program, we planted the first vineyard plot of the Terra Uma organization in Bat Shlomo, where grapes are grown for the healing journies of the following year. Working in the vineyard is an important component of the participants' process. Direct contact with the earth allows for an opening of the heart and the release of physical and emotional energy, learning the presence of mindfulness from the observation of nature's cycles, and the wisdom that comes from caring for the vines. This vineyard will soon be wheelchair accessible for veterans with ambulatory disabilities.
